Rolled Paper' (reverse) |

I have been experimenting with a more flexible way of using screen print. In Rolled Paper and Shrine, the texts were printed in reverse onto paper, which was then pressed into the raw clay ‘page’. This makes it easier to print both sides, and the print can be added to a formed work. Rolled Paper also has a large word embossed in relief on the interior –‘ZAP’ from a tabloid headline – almost concealed with a strong iron glaze.
